Boston Logan to Quincy

Just looking for some advice on the best/most cost efficient way to commute with luggage from Logan to Quincy. I noticed on the MBTA website that there is a shuttle boat service that goes from Logan to the Fore River shipyard, but I'm sure I'd have to get a taxi from there. Would it be better to do that or take the subway from Logan to Quincy Adams with luggage or mabye something else?

Cheapest and quickest would be to take the Silver Line to South Station and switch to the southbound Redline (Braintree train not Ashmont). There are three stations in Quincy - North Quincy, Quincy Adams and Quincy Central. Quincy Central is probably the best one if you will need a taxi.
I think there is a water shuttle from Logan to Marina Bay in Quincy which may be nearer to your destination but is probably more expensive and much less frequent.
Luggage on the T won't be any more difficult than the shuttle boat. You would need a shuttle bus to the boat anyway.

I'm not sure where in Quincy you are headed, but I always take the water shuttle to and from Quincy Shipyard when going to Logan. It is about $12 each way. At Logan, the free shuttle runs frequently to get you from the terminal to the ferry. At Quincy, you would pretty much have to take a taxi to your destination. Otherwise, follow the advice above.
