Krabi July or August?

Hi guys!

Since I visit Krabi 2 years ago I have been dreaming with come back...The problem is that I just can now take Holidays in July or August. I know it's rainy season during summer but in which of this 2 months the rainings are less heavy?

July or August? if it will be not raining, it will be very [very,very] humid, what about Perhentian or Redang Islands (Malaysia) and leave Krabi when the monsoon will be at east of East Coast of Malaysia and weather would be fine for Thai?

It is the rainy season, perhaps you might be lucky and not get much but even when it is not raining the seas can be rough and plans to head to beaches and islands can be disrupted. In Jukly and August most would head to the better weather islands such as Koh Samui, Koh Tao or Koh Phangan or the mainland beaches around the Gulf of Thailand where the weather is far better at that time of year.
