Walking around Bachman Lake

Exactly how many miles is it around Bachman Lake. We have been walking it lately. And with so many markers on the ground we can't get a accurate milage. I walk a 15 min. mile, and i walk the whole lake in 50 mins. So its slightly less than 4 miles, but by how much. Thanks

I used to run there, and I always thought that the distance was right at 3 miles or 5 kilometers...and sure enough, it's listed at 3.08 miles...see http://www.dallascityhall.com/pdf/park_and_rec/Bachman.pdf
