Andorra Travel Forum

Hi, Myself and 6 lads are traveling from Barcelona to Andorra on the 7th of Feburary by car. Just wondering what conditions to expect. Traveling late at night. Leaving Barcelona around 23.00 hoping to arrive in Andorra around 1.00am. What are the roads like this time of year and should we hire a car with snow chains.
We could also stop and stay somewhere along the way and get up early for the skiing on the 8th if you have any suggestion on somewhere good but also cheap to stay.

best is to stay alert to weather condition reports when crossing the pyrenées, done it several time all over the chain. night is best for driving but you see less of the scenery thus /
no need to stay if you are 6 and drive and are yound, that time is easy, i have done straight from FRance 16 hrs no sweat ::)

have a go lads, should be easy, unless a winter storm comes, thats why you should be looking at weather now.

Would you recommend snow chains for the car.

they expect snow to fall in the centre, so maybe its a good idea to have chains on the tires, sometimes the weather man is not so perfect ::)
