Cabo San Lucas Pulmonias

We will be one day on a cruise and will need transportation from Port to downtown and to the gold zone. How much should we expect to pay on a bus and a taxi, also are there Pulmonias there..How much should we pay. We want to pay a reasonable price but do not want to get ripped off either.

Well, you learn something new alomost every day! I had never heard the word "Pulmonia", so I looked it up in my Spanish dictionary and it defines it as 'pneumonia'; 'pulmonar' being LUNG...........so maybe you could enlighten me as to its usage in this context.

As to your questions about getting from a cruise ship in Cabo to downtown; once you reach the beach, it is not very far at all to the shopping district, so a taxi should not be too high; I certainly wouldn't spend time waiting for a bus, unless there is a special one for those disembarking. I would think on the ship you should be able to find out details of this procedure.
At present, the peso is running between 13-14/USdollar.

The taxi boats from the cruise ship come into the marina and you are right in the middle of town, you can walk to the stores. If you walk a couple of blocks away from the marina, as you probably know, you will most likely get better prices. There are many jewelry/gold stores in town and they will bargin alot because business is not good. There were a couple of shops a block from Cabo Wabo (out the front door by the tequila store then turn left.) They were on the next corner. I don't remember the name but they came down ALOT on the prices.
