Hi. I will be arriving in Cape Town tomorrow and wondering what standards tips i should be given for the following services:
1. Limousine Driver (i have a car service for the duration of my stay) 2. Bellboy 3. Waiters Thank you so much. |

I cannot comment on point one, but the bell boy...R10 (1 dollar) and waiters are 10% of the bill

The salary of your driver will be around $30 to $40 per day. I suppose a tip of around 10 to 15% will be okay.
10% for waiters is the minimum norm. Good service should get 15 or even 20 %

Salaries for above mentioned are not great in South Africa- 15% would be a good idea, and if the service is good, even more. All tips there are really appreciated. Its your call.
