Shops do not usually open on Sundays. Otherwise hour are Mon.- Sat. 9 -1 followed by a long lunch hour -reopening 4 - 7.
You may find some local seasonal variations.

It is possible you can find some shops open on sunday in Sliema and other seaside resort on the island. I mean shops that cater for tourists.
