Amman Amman to Petra Transportation Info

I'm heading to Petra from Amman and would like to know what the cheapest and earliest options are to Petra from Amman. I will be staying at the Palace Hotel
Address: King Faisal street mango market down town. Does anyone know how I would get from there to the bus station that would have transportation to Petra? Thanks

Hello go to Jett bus near your hotel.buy a ticket Petra i think bus leaves around 7 am.
the other way to go to Wehdat garage and take a mini bus it moves when fills up it is very uncomfortable ride to Petra.enjoy
