Van with driver

I'm looking for a driver who can drive us from Merida to Villahermosa and back while visiting small towns and tourist attractions. We are a group of 8 but need space for all of our luggage. Looking for approx. a 12passenger van. Driver needs to know the area well "tour guide", looking for an estimate which includes, accomodations, fuel, toll charges, etc. Trip is schedule for 3/20/09 to 3/30/09.

Not to rain on your parade, but I've seen these types of requests before in VT, and never seen an answer. The problem is the people who have such a van won't be online - you almost have to ask around in Merida to find something like this.

It might be easier to just rent a van and drive around yourself. We did this on a smaller scale (not with eight people), and although we got lost looking for some of the ruins and not everything went exactly according to plan, we enjoyed ourselves.
