TRAVEL DAMMAM TO MANAMAH (BAHRAIN)

I WOULD LIKE TO TRAVEL FROM DAMMAM TO MANAMAH TO BAHRAIN BUT NOT WITH AIRPLANE I HEARD SOMETHING FOR A BUS VIA A BRIDGE BUT I CANT FIND ANY SCHEDULE. I AM FROM GREECE ATHENS AND IN THE INTERNET ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IT PLS INFORM ME ANYONE IF YOU CAN.

If you are flying from Manama, Gulf Air offers a minibus service. You can also take a limousine. Shary Limo is one of the best companies that does the trip. The immigration process on the King Fahad causeway is quite time-consuming. Don't make the trip on a Wednesday or Thursday afternoon as the traffic jams then are really bad.

There is a regular bus service from Dammam by Sabtco. The fare is 5 SAR/50 BHR. The bus leaves several times a day from their town office in Damman. For schedules, see their website at http://www.sabtco.biz/

There is no bus line service across the causeway. There are mini busses chartered by the airlines. Your airline may be able to set you up with that. Another route is to take a Saudi taxi to the border and then another from there. There is a compnay called Hanco that will drive you all the way.

Tourister : unless they abolished the bus service very recently, there definatly is a bus service. I've taken the bus myself.

...And I very much doubt they have abolished it, especially since the http://www.sabtco.biz/opening.htm site still has the timing listed on it.
