Forum Question Posted By: Replies:
Bratislava Mobile Operators
Posted: Mon January 19, 2009 10:09 AM UTC
Hi again dear fellow travelers,

I wanted to know what's the best mobile network operator in Bratislava.. I wanted to know which one locals use. I noticed you have in Slovakia T-Mobile, Orange and O2 but was wondering who has got the cheapest rates and if it works well.

Thanks!

Hi,

It´s difficult question. Many people here in Slovakia, have two or three SIM cards, form different operators. Generally, most customers have Orange and T-Mobile, Telefonica - O2 is the youngest operator...and therefor they have only few customers. Rates are not clear. It depends on what kind of SIM card would you like to buy. You can buy prepaid card like "Prima" (Orange), or "Easy" (T-Mobile), and they will charge your "credits" from this card. Or you can buy standard SIM card, but this is not much convenient...if you come just for one week or so. Third option, is your own operator, and roaming calls. If you will make just EU calls...it´s not expensive.
Have a nice trip.

Peter
