Majorca Island Which Resort?

Hi, thinking of going to Majorca in June and wondered which resort is the best for us. We are a couple, no children, don't go to nightclubs, but like nice restauarants and bars, a good beach and generally nice resort. Oh, and prefereably no more that an hour from the airport by car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

I am thinking of going to Majorca this year too. I have been looking around the areas of Santanyi and Cala d'Or which is approximately an hour away from the airport.

If you click on google images and type in Santanyi you will see how picturesque the area looks! Hope you agree too!

Why don't you try the Eas area, like for example Cala Dor. It is a quite place with great beaches.

I suggest you consider Soller or Port de Soller.It is a lovely part of the island with great walking and other interesting things.You can take the train to Palma which is great fun.
