Cambodia Travelling in Cambodia in April

Hi, is travelling in Cambodia in April really that bad? I heard it must be terribly hot. I already planed four weeks travelling. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot. Chris

Yes we are going in March and expect the temps to be approx 36 in most spots give or take. Take a hat, plenty of water, and stick to the shade dont drink too much alcohol during the day it will dehydrate you very quickly. I assume you are using small guest houses for your accom the big hotels ar equite happy for you to use their pool facilites for a small fee take advantage. I can recomend Bou Savy in Siem Reap small family run spot $US15 a night with breakfast & air con we are going back in March for our 2nd stay with them.

It can be quite hot during that time of year. I went once with my family and after several days trekking in the heat and driving with shady tuk tuk drivers (no air conditioning), we decided to go with a tour guide & driver. It literally saved our lives as the heat can be unbearable when walking very long distances. To see what the weather is like, I would email or call Mara Long, a tour guide we found in Cambodia.
