Hallo everybody,

I am on a trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia and would like to visit Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. Can anybody recommend non expensive room or apartment for rent in Herceg Novi or some other city in the bay? Thanks!

So I have chosen Herceg-Novi to be my ‘base’ while visiting the bay. The reason for this is simple, it is close to Croatian border, bus connections are very good and more over Herceg-Novi is the most beautiful city in the bay. To explore the whole Boka Kotorska bay you need at least three days, each for one of the three major cities in the bay (Herceg-Novi, Kotor and Tivat) and often this is still not enough. I must say that I made a mistake by staying longer time in Dubrovnik, because this city is more expensive than Herceg-Novi.
