We are flying to Sao Paulo in April - first time! One of the posters noted that there was a shuttle from Guarulhos airport to the Blue Metro station. Is there a corresponding return shuttle from the Blue Metro station to Gaurulhos? Has anybody used this means (shuttle/Metro) to get into Sao Paulo downtown from Guarulhos?

There is a bus line serving Guarulhos airport. Several lines departing from Guarulhos airport go to diferent places. One of this route serves Guarulhos airport and Metro Station Tietê (Metro blue line). The return shuttle is possible.

Go to Tatuapé Red Line Metro Station and get a bus to the airport, costs less than R$4 and you will get you there in 40 minutes. No worries, perfectly safe. It's the bus that people who work at the airport use.
