Can anyone advise on the price of a taxi from the airport to Rhodes town, please. I am arranging a trip for my mother. Would also be glad of any ideas for a one night stay - not too expensive, possibly in the old town, before she catches the ferry to Nisyros the next day. Thank you

We were there 3 months ago, 16 Euros to the city, approx 20 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. Some turn metre on, others don't. On our departure trip the meter was on, he picked up another passanger along the way and dropped them off( got 5 Euro) then delivered us to airport 20 Euros but we travelled a different route. Some charge for luggage.

Last summer I was in Rhodes and I have taken a taxi to get me to the aiport.If I do remember well, I should have paid around 20 or 25 euros.Do not be afraid, no taxi driver is going to cheat you, because at the taxi station, there is a big board with all the taxi destinations and their respective fares.Once you have noticed that board, you know very well what you should expect to pay.That is the reason that they do not have to put on the meter: the price is already fixed!
Rhodes is wonderful!
