Miami Overnight accomodation & dinner/hotspot?

My friends and I have a stop over in Miami and will arrive @ 8PM. Our morning flight is at 11AM. I checked hotels adjacent to airport and would like your recommendations. Also, restaurants by cab that you can recommend?

You should stay near the airport to help with your departure the next morning. I would suggest after checking in that you take a cab to South Beach. Have the cab driver take you to Ocean drive and have dinner. Keep in mind that it is approx 45 minutes each way and dinner will take time, but if you want a different flavor Ocean Drive is it.
