Can anyone give me a definate answer on this one. My husband and I are planning a cruise to Bermuda at the very beginning of Oct. Is it beach weather there that time of year and will the water be to cold for swimming and snorkeling? I have gotten answers on both ends of the spectrum. I am hoping to find someone who has been there this time of year. Thanks so much!

My husband and I visited Bermuda October 21 - 28, 2008. We were able to snorkel a couple of times. The water was cold upon entering. However, we quickly became accustomed to the temperature. We were able to wear shorts and short sleeved shirts each day. However, I did wear a jacket or sweatshirt while riding on the scooter. It also rained a couple of days. It didn't stop us from exploring though. We bought cheap rain gear at a nearby grocery store. You will love Bermuda!
