hi could anyone tell me what prices are like in menorca now that the pound is worth so little euros. we are booked up to go in july but are having second thoughts

I think that at this moment you would find little overall difference in the cost of living in Menorca and in the UK - some items less, some more.
But July is still some time off and currencies change daily. Spain, too is experiencing the effects of the global recession.

If you have booked, and paid deposits, you need to consider what you might lose by cancelling your holiday now.

We spent a great holiday in Menorca a few years ago, spending very little as we were partly self-catering and we only went to hike, snorkel and enjoy the beaches (so, free activities!). You can spend in Menorca as much or as little as you want to, and it's an amazing island, so I would definitely return at any time
However, it of course depends on your style of vacation. If you want to eat out, clubbing, etc... Spain is no more a cheap country I'm afraid.
