hi
can anyone recomend a cheap clean hotel/guest house in colaba not
bentley's hotel as they are fully booked when i want to stay there.

u can try the salvation army hostel . that is in colaba and clean , safe and affordable. will try and get u the number / email id for a booking

Try the Residency Hotel, I stayed there in 2006, walking distance to Colaba area, few strides from the Victoria train station. Clean rooms, coffee/tea-making faility, nice bed and friendly staff.
