Chiang Rai going to Chiang Rai airport from Bangkok airport

what are the options of going to chiang rai airport from bangkok? The fastest, if possible. I'm planning to go to Laos, and I'm thinking of taking a flight from Manila, then to Chiang Rai (stopover in Bangkok).

The fastest will of course be to fly either to Chiang Mai then catch a bus or direct to Chiang Rai. However you can get trains and buses which take anywhere between about 10 - 14 hours.

Try 12Go air, Thai airways, Seat61 for train info.

There are no dates on these postings!
There are flights from BKK to CEI on
AirAsia (cheaper) and Thai Air.
