Yes, you can get a visa at the border when you enter Lebanon from Syria. That border is a lot easier than the border between Turkey and Syria, which is one of the most chaotic borders in the world.

There is so much to see in that area. Firstly, inside Turkey, you should visit Hatay. Then in Syria, you can visit Latakia and Krak de Chevaliers. Cross the northern border into Lebanon to visit Tripoli (Trablous), Bcharre and Al Arz (the Cedars). Then visit Byblos (Jbail) and Beirut. From there you can go to Zahle, the Bekaa Valley, Baalbeck, Aanjar and Beiteddine. Then travel down the coast to Sidon. All of these places are worth visiting. The area around Bcharre in the Kadisha Valley is one of the most beautiful. Aanjar and the surrounding area is very nice too.
