We are planning on visiting Naxos the beginning of April for 4 or 5 days. Any suggestions on where to stay? Any other info would be appreciated.

Because the island will be quiet at the beginning of April I suggest you focus your search on Naxos Town or Agios Giorgios (St. George) Beach, which is next to and just a short walk from town.

We stayed at The Hotel Grotta, in Naxos Town, 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the town waterfront & bus station and close to the Kastro/Citadel. A lovely hotel, cheap (amazingly cheap to be honest) with very friendly hosts (run by mother, father, sister & brother, of course) and lovely rooms. We were most impressed with it.

Looking now it would be 40 euro per night for a double room (for room, not per person) including breakfast in early April.
