Fuengirola is 25km east of Marbella on the Meditarrean Coast of Andalousia (southern Spain) - a very nice place.
Fuengirola is 13 km west of noisy and busy (rather terrible for me) Torremolinos and about 30km west of city of Malaga.

Hi there Patricia.
If you go to that area I you will have a great time , it is thru that Torremolinos is a busy place,I stayed last year at Calahonda, 12 km from Fuengirola, we went to Marbella , Puerto Banus, Ojen (op in the mountains , and Mijas, a must see little place very picturest, there is a beautiful long boardwalk along the ocean .You must see Benalmadena Costa , very richy , but nice to see.The whole area is beatiful.Have fun if you go there.

hy patricia, fuengirola is cheaper to live, but difernet to Marbella, check the adress as Mijas and Fuengirola are very closed ... (mijas costa and calhonda have better prices than marbella for accomodation)..
