taxi from salvador rodoviaria(bus station) to pelourinho

how much should i expect to pay for a taxi from the rodoviaria to pelourinho? also, is the bus from praca da se good enough to get to the airport or should i get a taxi?

A taxi from the rodoviaria to Pelourinho would be about R$35-40. You can also cross over the pedestrian overpass (passarela) to the front of the mall (Shopping Iguatemi) and ask where the mini-bus for Barra and Pelourinho stops.

The mini-bus from Praca de Se is good enough to get to the airport, but a taxi might be faster as they usually cut over onto the inland highway which has less traffic. The bus goes up the coast road and sometimes is slowed by heavy traffic, so leave enough time.
