hello i am miguel, on your messge i did not see the country you which to spend the new year. i will refer you to come over to dakar senegal in west africa it really a nice place and got lots of eating stop. guess word could not express what you are going to see when you come over because you are going to be choiceless.

No Miguel, Alvor is in the Algarve. This is the region south of Portugal.

About Alvor; my VT friend Balam has a good page about this village. Have a look at it. Surely you will find some useful info there.
