Hi everyone!

We are planning on taking the Tri-Rail from Miami to Hollywood for a concert. Does the Tri-Rail only pick up from the Miami Airport (MIA)? Also, once in Hollywood, is it easy to catch a cab from the Tri-Rail station to the concert venue (and back)?

If this doesn't work, we might just rent a car & pay for parking(even though we want to drink at the concert).

Any other tips? Cheers!

The airport station is both a Tri-Rail as well as an Amtrak station.
Please be aware that drinking and driving is NOT an option here or, anywhere else.
Police have begun very strict check points throughout the city during the holiday season.

The tri-rail makes more than one stop in Miami http://www.tri-rail.com/destinations/md_county.htm. There is also a Metro rail in Miami http://www.co.miami-dade.fl.us/transit/traintracker.asp, metromover http://www.co.miami-dade.fl.us/transit/routes1.asp#, and bus service http://www.co.miami-dade.fl.us/transit/library/tm_for_web.pdf is 24 hours.
The hotel I stayed at offered me a special rental car rate of $40 a day.
