is this on El Paseo de la Reforma? Back in 1988 (I know, I know!) I stayed in a hotel (I don't remember which one) on El Paseo, in a room that fronted on that street. I couldn't get to sleep; it was so noisy! It is like an interstate, with heavy trucks and loud motorcycles never ending. That's how it was back then, for what it's worth.

Other than a cheap hotel near the airport for an early flight, we always use the CALINDA GENEVA in the Zona Rosa; see tip on my M.C. page, if interested; but from looking at the website of Imperial Reforma, it may be about US$20/night more, altho it is quiet and also recently refurbished and in business for about 100 yrs. and for its price range, we highly recommend it.
