My girlfriend and I are traveling through Thailand, Laos and Cambodia in feb, and are stuck on one leg of our trip. We are trying to get from Vientiane to Siem Reap but we don't have the luxury of time or money. So we are wondering what is the quickest way that isn't too expensive. Bus? Or fly from one border to the other inside Thailand?

The quickest way to get from Vientiane to Seam Reap is to fly via Bangkok. Same for bus aswell but the bus will take much longer 2-3days.
It depends what you can afford, to fly will be a little bit expensive but is the quickest. By bus maybe cheaper but will take much longer. All upto you. Good luck.

I would say a flight unfortunately...If you google a little bit they don't have to be that expensive. A company that helped me with my cambodia trip last year was www.cambodiaonline.com.au. They also do Thailand and Laos. Maybe they can help u out. Goodluck. Karen
