I don't know whether there is a direct bus though I doubt it. Almost certainly you would be best going by train via Barcelona Sants station.
Unless you are in one hell of a hurry, go to the local ticket counter - the local trins are much cheaper and pretty frequent.
BTW be sure you see the aqueduct at Taragona - number 2 local bus.
