Likely this member has been reading the Warnings tips on Strasbourg and clicked on "Post a Question" which leads here. It seems like a question out of the blue but it will be asking about a warning they have read.

When there are demonstrations in the rest of France, there are usually demonstrations in Strasbourg. So far as I know, nothing is happening right now. We've been in Strasbourg during a couple demonstrations and it's simple to just walk a block out of your way and avoid them.
Right now don't worry about it. Go and enjoy the Christmas markets.
