Taxi Fare

I'm flying into Auckland in a few weeks and would like to now how much a taxi from the International airport to the Intercity bus stop in Manukau City would be.

If you could also tell me how long such a trip takes that would be great as I am arriving at noon and want to see if it is possible to catch a bus departing form Manukau City at 1.15pm.

The distance is 11 to 12 kilometres and would take about 20 minutes. This could cost you about NZ$ 30.

But I think your calculation is very optimistic if you arrive on an international flight and have to go through immigration. It might work out if the flight arrives on time, the queues are not long and they do not open your luggage - but it is possible to miss the bus.
