San Francisco 9 hours in SF

I have 9 hours in SF between connecting flights in two weeks time and would like to get out of the airport and have a tour of SF. Can anyone suggest a reputable tour company who could provide either a private or packaged tour. I would arrive mid morning on a Wednesday. Appreciate your advice.

You can take the BART to Powell Station, which is located in the heart of Union Square the shopping district. From there you can hop on a cable car and ride it to Fisherman's Wharf/G. Square. Once your ready get on another cable car at G. Square and take it to Chinatown and walk along Grant back to Union Square. That's better than any tour.

Tours can also be risky because a lot of them take you to high points to see the view. This is great if the weather is clear, and utterly pointless if the weather is foggy or rainy. It can easily go either way this time of year but it does tend to rain.
