Izmir car hire

is there a car hire company at izmir airport which will allow me to drop off a car in akbuk and pick this up as only need to get to akbuk and will manage to get back to izmir

Every major car rental company has an office at Izmir airport plus some local ones. However, they probably will charge you dearly for drop off.

Propercar is an excellent car rental firm but since Akbuk is not a large centre there may be a charge for dropping it off there
