Zanzibar Island Travel Forum

Hi Everyone,

We are heading to Zanzibar in February and I am trying to pick a nice relaxing place to stay in Zanzibar, for not a great deal of money, but also not a budget hotel. We would like a pool and close to the beach.

Does anyone have any comments on Coral Rock Beach Bungalows or Blue Oyster?

I can tell you the difference between Coral Rock and Blue Oyster.
Coral Rock is further south, Coral Rock has a swimming pool Oyster does not.
Coral Rock rooms are air-conditioned, Oyster not.
Oyster is German owned, Coral Rock is African owned.
Both are rated highly on trip advisor and I suggest you look there and at other sites for balanced opinions.
I'd be biased because I'm one of the directors of Coral Rock. :o)
