Tampa animals or rides?
Posted: Mon November 17, 2008 11:32 AM UTC
We are a family of four including two adult children and we will be spending one day at Busch Gardens next month. Is it possible to see all the animals as well as ride all the roller coasters in that time or would we be better off skipping some things to concentrate on others. If so, what would you advise to skip.

a few years back i was living near, and my kids were 10, we did in one day if i recall all of it except the most terrifying roller coaster rides. You have to plan an schedule and follow it fast, but is doable if i recall.

LONG time ago (1993 I think,) we covered the rides and animals in 1 day , but we did not have any time left to tour the brewery or see those amazing horses in action. All in all, fun was had by us all.

Caustion - roller coaster - please obey the sign about not looking down , face up etc.

Enjoy

Yes it's possible but you need to get there early, be willing to stay the whole day and have some sort of route planned so you don't waste time travelling between rides etc. I would definately start with shiekra and then go to rhino rally, when i've been there the last few times these have had the biggest lines. I would skip some of the smaller rides (unless your kids are little) as they're pretty much the same as everywhere else. The new jungala part is pretty good and the edge of Africa section has most of the animals that you can see n one go.

Tough to do but it can be done. You must follow a schedule however and that's not much fun is it? I would suggest you check out the website and mark down your must sees. Then work in the rest. You wont see everything but you will have a much better time. Remember you are on vacation enjoy yourself.
