The Golden Gate Park is my top favorite. If you like art, visit the de Young Museum. It's a very modern building with a very diverse collection and on the top floor is a stunning view of San Francisco. http://www.famsf.org/deyoung/visiting/index.asp

Still in the park and across a courtyard is the California Academy of Sciences, a really fun musuem that includes a huge aquarium, a 4-story rain forest, a planetarium and live penguins. http://www.calacademy.org/

Fisherman's Wharf is lots of fun with things going on in the street and nearby.

Golden Gate Bridge is beautiful although often very windy so you may not want to try the walk across, especially if it's windy and raining. On a nice day, it's a gorgeous walk with great views of the city.

*Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge
*Eat in a restaurant in Sauselito, the view of SF is wonderful.
*Take the Trolley to Chinatown and back. ( Sometimes you have
to wait in line to get on the Trolley)
