hi i know people our asking about christmas dinner but could anyone tell us are bars open christmas day and christmas eve maybe balem knows thanks in advance peter

I can't be specific about Alvor (I live in Albufeira) but bars are open Christmas Eve but may close earlier than usual, so that staff can go home for heir Christmas Eve meal with the family and then midnight Mass.

Certainly there are bars open on Christmas Day here in Albufeira. However these tend to those run by and for locals rather than ex-pat or tourist bars, so I imagine things in Alvor won't be too different.
