I usually tip shuttle bus drivers US$1 wherever I am in the USA. Of course, this is when they have been helpful and of service.

Miami What I do for shuttle bus drivers
Posted: Wed November 12, 2008 05:17 PM UTC
$1 if s/he does nothing more than drive me from Point A to Point B.
$1 for each HEAVY piece of luggage the driver actually helps me with. Carry-ons that I carry myself don't count.
Maybe an extra dollar for extra niceness and courteousness.

Note that none of this is required, like with a cab driver or a restaurant server. But if I can afford to fly, I can afford to give tips.

It depends upon the driver. If they help us with our bags and are friendly, we will usually tip a few dollars. If they are grumpy and unhelpful, then they will get less or nothing at all.

I agree with PR-7. Depends on how much luggage you have and how much the driver actually helps with your luggage. If you're on a budget don't go overboard. Its customary and nice to tip here in the USA but remember its not obligatory. You don't have to do it even though many expect it.
