Aleppo With kids

Hi,

we will be going to Aleppo in about 4,5 days and were thinking of spending three days there.

Any suggestions as of a nice not too expensive hotel in a nice neighbourhood...with family rooms ...?

We are travelling with our three children of 1 yr, 5 yrs and 7 yrs, is there something nice for children in Aleppo, something we should not miss, any tips welcome!

Hi,

Not really sure about what would be good for kids..but
I went visited Aleppo last may..we stayed at a really nice hotel called Park hotel, its very new and just by the rail station - i would definately stay there again, it also has an amazing view from the bar at the top of the hotel. There is a young guy called Basam who showed us around town (he was lovely not dodgy at all)

The citadel is brilliant, we spent ages in there aswell as the markets opposite the citadel. there is also a massive park opposite the hotel which usually has a something going on. The main mosque is also very nice, the organ of the prophet zakaria is said to be there in a tomb.

Not really sure about activities for kids, really sorry..i hope you enjoy your visit!

hiii
i hope you are doing well.

please note that there isn't hotels with facilities for kids in Aleppo except Sheraton 5* hotel.

but from my experience i can recommend Botique hotels where you & they can see a new version of decoration .... botique hotels are hotels date back to more than 200 years where you can see the oriental decorations in walls & ceiling
you can enjoy your coffee aroung Bahraa (smalll fountain)

there are many clean & beatiful botique hotels in Aleppo such as (Dar Zamaria - Tourath House - Beit Salahia (wonderful & cheap)- Beit Wakil - Beit Dallal )

for Beit Salahia & Beit Dallal you will less than 55 $ per night for Double Room

i wish you a nice stay

for any additional information, please don't hesitate to contact me

Best regards

Thank you for the answers, unfortunatly I read them just now and have allready been in Aleppo. We stayed at the Dar Zamaria, a beautiful hotel, and the kids loved the souk and just having a walk in the small streets of al Jdeida so it was great.
