Havana Where to?
Posted: Mon October 27, 2008 11:53 AM UTC
I want to take a trip this coming 2nd week of November 2008. Im thinking of going to Havana or San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am most interested in sightseeings, taking pictures of old buildings, churches, etc. Im confused where to go between these two cities. I heard wonderful comments to both so it's quite hard for me to decide. Where can you suggests?
Thanks a lot.
By the way I am asian-canadian.

I haven't been to San Juan, so can't make any comments. Cuba is definately worth a visit, lots of colonial buildings, castles, nice people as well. Spend 1-2 days in Trinidad and nearby sugar valley.

havana is probably one of the most unique cities of the world, the charm of it, it is very hard to describe but i really left a mark in people's mind once you experince its uniqueness, i highly recommended, if you love photography you will centainly will love its photogenic character,i have been in havana during my last cuba holidays and the light of the city makes it an ideal setting for all kind of photography

from old havana to miramar is not 25 km unless they stretch the land. its closer to 10 KM. I am Cuban from that area. Definitively the choice will be Havana, but i am biased,,,,,,have great fun there. Ahh my town is 24 km from Havana and we past Miramar to get there....

Atlantico is great! The shuttle will take you downtown. Have a beer and chicken at one of the places on the water in the oldtown by were the bus drops you. The food is great, and even my 1 year old could eat it.
