Where to? Posted: Mon October 27, 2008 11:53 AM UTC
I want to take a trip this coming 2nd week of November 2008. Im thinking of going to Havana or San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am most interested in sightseeings, taking pictures of old buildings, churches, etc. Im confused where to go between these two cities. I heard wonderful comments to both so it's quite hard for me to decide. Where can you suggests?
Thanks a lot.
By the way I am asian-canadian.

I haven't been to San Juan, so can't make any comments. Cuba is definately worth a visit, lots of colonial buildings, castles, nice people as well. Spend 1-2 days in Trinidad and nearby sugar valley.

from old havana to miramar is not 25 km unless they stretch the land. its closer to 10 KM. I am Cuban from that area. Definitively the choice will be Havana, but i am biased,,,,,,have great fun there. Ahh my town is 24 km from Havana and we past Miramar to get there....

Atlantico is great! The shuttle will take you downtown. Have a beer and chicken at one of the places on the water in the oldtown by were the bus drops you. The food is great, and even my 1 year old could eat it.
