hi thinking booking for these apartments for sept 2009 can any one please give info on place and how far to places etc thanks

i have been to the area, and my older boy godfather is from FAro nearby. the place is not to far from the center of town,and very close to a beach of fine sands. the shopping center is about 350 meters, so you will be ok i think. the place is well known by the locals.

Yes, Casa Mitchell is about 5 minutes walk from where I live. It is on the edge of the old town area of Albufeira and is therefore only 5 minutes walk or less from the town centre, all its bars and restaurants and also the beaches. There are several bars in the immediate locality and a small corner shop also. Medium sized supermarket is about 7 or 8 minutes walk near the old cemetery or down in town.

I haven't ever stayed there but the building is in a quiet semi-residential street. Parking might be rather difficult and if you intend to hire a car (completely unnecessary if you are not going to off out into the country) check with them.

BTW the whole area of Albufeira is rather hilly!
