Hello!

We are a couple with our 3-year-old son travelling to Lyon in January. What's the weather like at that time? Rain, snow...? Any particular advice?

Hi , Lyon has the same weather as Paris,cold, could rain as snow also.

It will be fairly cold, and there may or may not be snow.

Best to pack clothes you can easily layer (several thin layers are warmer than one thick layer), warm waterproof outerwear and hat/scarf/gloves.

I agree with everything that has been written but would add that it might also be sunny but it would then be colder as in winter in Lyon, the sky is blue when northern wind has blown out the clouds. This is a very good time to visit if you are conveniently clothed. Anyway, if you are unlucky with the weather, there is plenty to visit indoor and restaurants are famous!

Oh, you are from Pula! Lyon will be colder than your home town but I feel it is not very different from Zagreb. May be a little milder.
