New York City Timing question
Posted: Sat October 25, 2008 08:59 AM UTC
I'm coming to NYC to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. When I asked him what he'd like to for his birthday he said he would love to go to a Giants or Jets game. The Jets are playing at the Giants stadium on Dec 28th at 1pm. We have tickets for "In the Heights" that evening at 7pm. Do you think we'll have enough time to get back from the game to make the show? And what would be the best way to get to the stadium from Manhattan?

Thanks!

Unless you have tickets for the Jets game, they will be difficult to find. You will be back in plenty of time. Buses leave from the Port Authority bus terminal on 41st and 8th Av.

Cheers

Thanks NYTim.....I did find 3 tickets to the Jets game for $125 each. They're up in the nose bleed section but thats ok. As long as we're back in the city by 630 and I'll be happy!

Thanks again
J

The 1 pm game is usually over by 4 if you leave a few minutes early you will beat the traffic and have more time relax.

If you know anything about football, you know the Jet game will be over by the 3d quarter! And, long before December 28, their SEASON will have been over, too. Last week, it took them more than 60 minutes to lose to a team that is even worse than the Jets. You'll want to beat the traffic, so IMHO I'd leave the Stadium around 3pm. The Jets don't fail to disappoint. P.S. Hi John!
