We are planning our very first trip to Belize in January/February - any information about the following places would be greatly appreciated.
Placencia: Ranguana Lodge or Westwind Belize.
Caves Branch Jungle Lodge
Caye Caulker: Costa Maya Beach Cabanas, De Real MaCaw,Seaside Cabanas.
We are planning 3 nights in Placencia, 3 in the Jungle, and 4 in Caye Caulker.
Trying to keep to a modest budget. Any suggestions for what to do in those places, and where to eat would help also. Are we trying to do too much? We arrive Jan.24, and leave Feb 4. Will we need to rent a car, or can we find public transportation, or vans/taxi's to get between these places? Is there someplace we should see instead of what I listed? Any help would be appreciated!
