New York City travel into NYC for Coheed concert at Terminal 5 on 10/24
Posted: Wed October 22, 2008 10:23 PM UTC
Hi, we are planning on going to the Coheed & Cambria concert this Friday at 7 at Terminal 5. We are driving from Albany.

1. Should we drive into the city, or is there a good subway / train station to park at on the way, say in NJ or NY north of the city and take a train or subway in. We're thinking this might avoid the hassle of driving in NYC and paying a lot for parking. It seems like it would be better to park & ride in. We'll probably be there until midnight or so, then need to leave to go home to Albany again.

2. If we should drive in to the city, is there a good place to park?

3. If we drive into the city, what's the best way to go?

Coheed & Cambria? isn't that a Cuban cigar?? [that's original material!] After you've checked the MetroNorth schedules at mta.info, park at the White Plains MetroNorth station, and take the MetroNorth to and from the City. Or Suffern, along the Port Jervis line.
