Train to/for Verona will be running like usual (see the schedule on www.trenitalia.com).
Buses will stop on Xmas day and Jan 1st, for the rest they should work as usual. Keep in mind that Dec 26th is holyday, so sunday schedule applies.
Ciao
Francesco

it will be very easy to go to both venice and mantua from verona by train - in verona the busses are outside the station (tabacchi shop inside station for tickets. the train will deposit you outside the canal and the vaporetto station just to the right when you go down the steps - in mantua when you get off the train it is an easy walk to the major sites - all in all very convenient, easily done - verona is my favorite city in all of italy - if need a place to stay, email my friend federica - info@lospite.com - she is reasonable, helpful, clean and mentioned in rick steves - mantua is a really neat city - the home of andrea mantegna - and some interesting palazzos and churches.
enjoy
