Has somebody had dinner there? I'd like to receive your comments vs price, service and food quality. thanks

I assume you mean Peter Luger's. I have a review on my travel pages but basically their steak is very, very, very good. It is a busy place with comfort and service taking second place to the meat. You may have to book 6 weeks in advance, it is that popular. The menu is porterhouse for 2, 3 or 4. On my last visit with my wife we managed a porthouse for 3 - meat that tasty and tender is easy to eat ;-))

NOTE - you will need to pay CASH, the only credit card they accept is their own.

Did I mention that the meat is wonderful? and the chips, sorry french fries, are also great as they are fried in beef dripping.

I've eaten at Peter Luger's too. Really good. Great portions. $$$$ but worth it. Sides are extra $$. Old style steakhouse environment. Service was good.

GO THERE. Peter Luger steaks are the best in the country. Yes they are expensive but all steak houses are. For sides we always get one baked potato and one creamed spinach and that is enough for my husband and me. Make a reservation ASAP because sometimes they are filled weeks in advance. And remember CASH ONLY.
