Re: Ceuta by bus Posted: Fri October 17, 2008 10:27 PM UTC
That route and that border crossing was one of the worst in my life. I dont recommend it at all. u
unless anyone can say its now much better.
but when I went from Chefchouen I had to catch a bus up to Tetouan and then another bus and watch where to get off - locals helped me actually - and then we shared a taxi to the border - and then the wait to get passports stamped was a nightmare. nowhere else in or out of Morocco was as bad as this.
I would almost be tempted to say catch a fast ferry from Tangier to Tarifa which takes only 35 mins, which has a bus waiting for transfer to Algeciras which takes about 15 mins, and then catch a fast ferry to Ceuta- only about another half an hour!
