Cortina d'Ampezzo train or bus from Venice to Calalzo di Cadore

Does anyone have any details on how often the trains and buses travel between these 2 places. I need to travel from Venice (or Mestre) on the Tuesday morning before Xmas, and return to Marco Polo Airport by 20:00 hours on Saturday 27th.

Train would be preferred as I suspect the bus journey will be very long

The train line towards Cortina stops in Calalzo, so no problems to go there. Check timetables on www.trenitalia.it

Thanks for your help. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but I can't find any trains from Venice to Calalzo-Pieve Di Cadore-Cortina on Dec 23rd 2008
